Community Involvement
Norton and Bristol County are more than our service area — they are home. Keeping them clean is the job; here is how we put containers and trucks to work for the neighborhood.

Supporting local cleanups
We are proud to be part of the Norton community and the greater Bristol County area, and beyond delivering roll-off containers we care about keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe and thriving. We support local cleanup efforts and promote responsible waste disposal and recycling across Norton, Mansfield, Attleboro, Taunton, Easton, Foxborough and the surrounding towns — proper debris removal keeps streets, parks and job sites clean for everyone. When a neighborhood group, an HOA, a church, a school or a volunteer crew runs a cleanup day, the hard part is always the pile at the end. A roll-off is often exactly what they need: a 30 yard handles the bulk waste from a neighborhood or property cleanup, and a 40 the temporary structures and waste from a large event.
One honest tip: some of it already has a home. Norton's Highway Department takes listed items — appliances, tires, TVs, mattresses, scrap metal — on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month for per-item fees, and clothing, oil and antifreeze at no charge (508-285-0239). The Town's West Hodges Street drop-off takes grass, leaves and brush on set Saturdays in spring and fall. Check those first. And keep mattresses, clothing and bedding out of a cleanup container — Massachusetts has banned them from disposal since 1 November 2022. If your project is bigger than that, call us.
Working with local groups
HOAs, neighborhood associations, churches, schools and local organizations — if your group is planning a cleanup, a community event or an improvement project and needs a container, call (508) 952-9763 or email info@blackstonebinrentals.com and tell us what you are doing. We serve Norton and the surrounding towns, including Attleboro, North Attleborough, Mansfield, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Taunton, Raynham, Easton, Berkley, Dighton, Middleborough, Foxborough, Plainville, Wrentham, Norfolk and Sharon. Where a town wants permission for a container in a street or on public land — in Norton, the Select Board's written permission — we tell you what applies before the day.
We hire locally. A local company should mean local jobs.
Responsible disposal
Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We work with local disposal facilities and recycling centers to reduce unnecessary landfill waste whenever possible — metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste go to recycling where facilities take them, and everything else to an approved facility. Massachusetts bans mattresses, textiles, large appliances, picture-tube screens, lead-acid batteries, tires, yard waste and recyclables from the trash, so they stay out of the box — and household chemicals, paint and gasoline go to a proper outlet, never the container.
