Roll-off dumpster rental in Wrentham
Approx. 11 road miles from the yard, around 21 minutes.
Wrentham is approx. 11 road miles north-northwest of the yard, around 21 minutes — same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. It is a town of 12,178 at the 2020 Census, in Norfolk County.
The Town says Wrentham sits midway between Boston and Providence, with three lakes and substantial conservation land and open space, and that it was incorporated in 1673; its first settlers viewed land near the pond now known as Lake Pearl. Town curbside uses a black 35-gallon cart or purple pay-as-you-throw bags, and bulky items such as TVs, mattresses, fridges and furniture are collected by appointment. Bigger clean-outs and renovation debris go in a roll-off.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Wrentham
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Lake Pearl — the pond the 1660s settlers viewed land near, the Town's history says.
- Neighbors — the Town lists Franklin to the west, Norfolk to the north, Foxboro to the east, Plainville and Cumberland, RI to the south, and Bellingham to the southwest.
- Route 1A and Route 140 — both named in DPW project pages: Dedham Street (Route 1A) and the Route 140 stormwater improvements.
- Household hazardous waste — the Town's HHW day is suspended because of cost.
What comes out of Wrentham properties
Garage and attic clean-outs in 15s, roofs in 10s and 20s, landscaping and yard work in 15s and 20s, remodels in 20s, estate clean-outs in 30s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt — heavy loads are limited to the smaller boxes. Town curbside takes carts and bags, and bulky items go one appointment at a time; a whole clean-out is simpler in a roll-off. MassDEP bans asphalt pavement, brick and concrete, metal, wood (from landfills), clean drywall, mattresses and textiles (since 1 November 2022), whole tires, large appliances, TV and monitor picture tubes and lead-acid batteries from disposal (310 CMR 19.017), so mixed construction loads go to a C&D handling facility that sorts them. MassDEP says even one mattress can fail a load — tell us before you load a mattress or an appliance.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Wrentham

Permits, placement and who may haul in Wrentham
Who may haul — the rule that matters: Wrentham's Board of Health quotes M.G.L. c.111 §31A and charges $110 per truck for its rubbish and garbage removal licence, applied for online. Its pages don't name roll-offs, and we found no separate dumpster regulation. Bylaw §293-3 bars carting rubbish in any public street except as the Board of Health provides. The Town's contract covers curbside service, and we found nothing making it exclusive for roll-offs. We're licensed and insured.
In the street: we found no Town container permit. Bylaw §326-15 bars leaving material or an obstruction on a sidewalk, street or public place overnight without a light and suitable guards, or after a police officer, constable or the Select Board says to remove it. A driveway is the simple spot.
State highways: nothing may be placed on a MassDOT state highway without MassDOT's written permit (M.G.L. c.81 §21), and MassDOT has no dumpster or container permit type — so on a state highway the container goes on private property. Not every stretch of a numbered route is state-owned, so we check the exact address.
Knocking something down: Massachusetts requires an asbestos survey by an asbestos inspector before demolition or renovation work (310 CMR 7.15(4)), and asbestos removal needs a MassDEP notice filed ten working days before work starts by the licensed abatement contractor. MassDEP's construction/demolition notice (AQ 06) does not apply to residential buildings with fewer than 20 units. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Wrentham
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, stable surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.
Step 4: Load it on your schedule
Keep it level with the top edge or below and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, oils and fuel, chemicals, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, mattresses and textiles, and fridges or other large appliances. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right
The load is covered and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste recycled through Massachusetts facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers
Dumpster rental in Wrentham — common questions
Is Wrentham same-day?
Same-day or next-day when availability allows — it is about 21 minutes from the yard. Call (508) 952-9763 early in the day for the best chance.
Will Wrentham curbside take my clean-out?
Town curbside takes the black cart and purple PAYT bags, and bulky items such as TVs, mattresses, fridges and furniture are collected by appointment only. A bigger clean-out or renovation goes in a roll-off.
Can a dumpster sit in a Wrentham street overnight?
Only with a light and suitable guards through the night, and it must go when a police officer, constable or the Select Board says so (Bylaw Sec. 326-15). A driveway is simpler.
Does Wrentham license haulers?
Yes. The Board of Health's rubbish and garbage removal licence is $110 per truck.
