Roll-off dumpster rental across Norton and Bristol County

Black Stone Bin Rentals runs out of a yard at 50 Pleasant St in the Town of Norton, Bristol County, a short way off Route 123 and close to the Attleboro line. The idea is simple: local customers deserve honest service, fair pricing and dependable dumpster rentals without the hassle. So we keep it plain. A flat-rate quote that covers the job. A delivery window we tell you up front. A local person on the line, not a call center or a middleman.

Norton had 19,202 people at the 2020 Census, and Bristol County 579,200. Homeowners call about cleanouts, remodels and storm-damaged roofs; property managers turn over units; contractors build across Norton and out to Attleboro, Mansfield and Taunton. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that we found no Town trash collection in Norton, that using a Norton street for a container takes the Select Board's written permission, that Route 123 and Route 140 are state highway, and that Massachusetts bans mattresses, textiles, large appliances and recyclables from the trash.

Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (508) 952-9763 and describe it in a sentence.

Why Norton chooses us

Why people call us back

  • You reach a local team, not a call center

The phone is answered by a local team member who understands Norton and the towns around it — a narrow driveway on a tight lot, a bigger property, a job site off Route 123 or Route 140.

  • Flat-rate pricing, said out loud

Delivery, pickup, disposal, the rental terms and an included weight allowance explained up front. No hidden fees and no surprise charges. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.

  • Same-day when availability allows

Call early in the day and many orders can go out the same day, depending on scheduling. If it has to be tomorrow, we tell you before you book.

  • Driveway-friendly placement

Careful placement on a flat, stable surface, and the driver tells you before delivery if a tight drive, low wires or soft ground needs a different approach. Plywood under the wheels adds protection, and protective boards may be available on request.

  • The right box, not the biggest

Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.

  • Ready for storm cleanup

A storm can drop limbs, fences and shingles in an afternoon. We tell you honestly when the container can be there.

Simple from start to finish

Five steps, one phone call

Most bookings take a few minutes.

  1. Step 1: Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.

  2. Step 2: We size it and quote it flat

You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.

  3. Step 3: Delivered where you want it

The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, stable surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.

  4. Step 4: Load it on your schedule

Keep it level with the top edge or below and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, oils and fuel, chemicals, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, mattresses and textiles, and fridges or other large appliances. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.

  5. Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right

The load is covered and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste recycled through Massachusetts facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local knowledge

Seventeen towns, and we know the driveways

There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives the truck fits down, that Norton's bylaw wants the Select Board's written permission before a street is used for rubbish or building material, that Route 123 (Old Colony Road) and Route 140 are state highway where MassDOT has no container permit, that Taunton's Board of Health Dumpster Regulations call for a fence around dumpsters in residential areas, that Easton wants a Board of Health permit for every temporary dumpster, that Sharon licenses every dumpster, roll-offs included, and that Seekonk issues a $25 temporary dumpster permit.

Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, local character and what that town's own rules say about containers in the street and who may haul.

Credentials

What you are actually hiring

Plain, checkable facts about who you would be working with — no invented star ratings or reviews.

  • Licensed & insured, with professional drivers

Professional, insured drivers who respect your property and job site and place each container with care. Ask when you book if your property manager, general contractor or HOA needs proof of insurance.

  • Based on Pleasant Street in Norton

The yard is at 50 Pleasant St, Norton, MA 02766 — in the Town of Norton, Bristol County, a short way off Route 123. The number on this page reaches a local team, not an answering service in another state.

  • Seventeen towns, three counties

Norton and the towns around it, from Attleboro, North Attleborough and Seekonk to Taunton, Raynham and Middleborough, and north to Mansfield, Easton, Foxborough, Wrentham and Sharon. We tell you honestly about timing and any local rule before you book.

  • Sorted the way Massachusetts requires

Massachusetts bans mattresses, textiles, large appliances, picture-tube screens, tires, lead-acid batteries, yard waste and recyclables from the trash, and sends construction debris to facilities that separate it. We keep banned items out of the box, recycle what facilities take, and say so.

Answers

Dumpster rental in Norton — your questions

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Norton, MA?

It depends on the dumpster size, the type of debris, the rental duration, the disposal weight and the delivery location, so we quote each job rather than publish prices. We provide transparent flat-rate pricing whenever possible, with delivery, pickup and disposal costs explained up front and no hidden fees. The quote includes a weight allowance — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard, up to 5 to 6 on a 40 — and going over it, or keeping the container past the rental period, can add a fee. Call (508) 952-9763 for a customized quote for your address.

How quickly can you deliver a dumpster in Norton?

Same-day or next-day when availability allows. For the best chance of same-day, call early in the day — before noon is best. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but we do not promise night or Sunday drop-offs.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Norton?

On private property such as your own driveway, generally not — we found no Town permit rule for a roll-off on your own property. A street is different. Norton's bylaw requires anyone using part of a public way for rubbish or building material during building work to get written permission from the Select Board first, with the spot lit from sunset to sunrise, a railing or guard around it, the road restored afterward and an agreement to indemnify the Town (§135-7). The bylaw names no fee or time limit, and we found no online form; ask the Select Board office at Town Hall. On Route 123 (Old Colony Road) or Route 140, which are state highway, we found no MassDOT permit path for a container. Check your HOA too. We can help explain the process when you book.

What can't go in a dumpster in Massachusetts?

MassDEP bans these from disposal (310 CMR 19.017): mattresses and box springs, and textiles such as clothing and bedding (since 1 November 2022); large appliances; picture-tube TVs and monitors; lead-acid batteries; whole tires; leaves and yard waste; recyclable paper, cardboard and bottles and cans. We also keep out paints and solvents, oils and automotive fluids, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste and asbestos. Asphalt, brick, concrete, metal, wood and clean drywall are banned from landfills, but a roll-off of construction debris goes to a facility that separates them, so they are fine in the box within the weight limit. If you are unsure about an item, call before loading it.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

We take precautions during delivery and pickup to help protect your property. For additional protection, some customers place plywood boards under the dumpster wheels, and protective boards may be available on request. Tell us before delivery if a surface worries you.

Which dumpster size do I need?

Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. Small cleanups, concrete, dirt and roofing debris are a 10 or 15; remodeling projects, landscaping jobs and larger home cleanouts a 20; construction, demolition, estate cleanouts and commercial projects a 30 or 40. One pickup truck load is roughly 2 cubic yards. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.

Do you deliver outside Norton?

Yes — Attleboro, North Attleborough, Mansfield, Rehoboth and Seekonk; Taunton, Raynham, Easton, Berkley, Dighton and Middleborough; and Foxborough, Plainville, Wrentham, Norfolk and Sharon. Each town has its own page with its own street and Board of Health rules.

When is the best time to book?

Early. Same-day depends on availability, and a call early in the day gives you the best chance. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it — and if asbestos is coming out, or a larger building is being demolished, MassDEP's notices have to be filed ten working days ahead.
