Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across Bristol County and the Attleboro area

Every job we do is a roll-off: a large, open-top rectangular container that a roll-off truck places on your driveway, job site or commercial property, that sits there while you fill it, and that goes back on the truck when you call. It is temporary — one dumpster, one delivery and one scheduled pickup — and then it is gone. This page is about the box itself — the sizes, the weight, the space it needs and what the price covers — for anyone who just wants to know what they are renting.

The yard is at 50 Pleasant St, Norton, MA 02766 — in the Town of Norton, Bristol County, on a town road a short way off Route 123 (Old Colony Road) and close to the Attleboro line. Approximate road miles from the yard: Attleboro about 2, central Norton about 3, North Attleborough about 6, Plainville about 8, Mansfield, Easton and Taunton about 9, Raynham and Wrentham about 11, Rehoboth and Foxborough about 12, Berkley and Seekonk about 14, Dighton about 15, Norfolk about 16, Sharon about 17 and Middleborough about 21.

  • Flat-rate pricing whenever possible: delivery, pickup, disposal within the weight allowance and the standard rental period
  • Same-day or next-day delivery when availability allows

  • Careful placement on driveways and job sites
  • A local team on the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

How a roll-off works

The truck backs in and places the container on the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top, keeping everything level with the top edge or below — overfilled dumpsters cannot be transported safely or legally. Spread the load evenly. Call when it is done; the truck comes back, loads it and hauls it, with the load covered as Massachusetts law requires for rubbish and debris (M.G.L. c.85 §36).

Space is the thing to check before you book: a flat, stable surface such as a driveway, a paved area or compact gravel, enough room for the truck to get in and set the container down, and clear space overhead, free of power lines and tree branches. Parked cars, trailers and equipment are the usual obstacles. If you will not be home, mark the spot or send us a photo. Any public street placement needs the town's permission first — in Norton, written permission from the Select Board (Bylaw §135-7).

What the flat rate includes

We provide flat-rate pricing whenever possible, so you know the cost before scheduling: it covers delivery, pickup, disposal fees within the included weight allowance and the standard rental period. The price itself depends on the dumpster size, the type and total weight of the debris, the rental duration, the delivery location and the number of pickups or swaps — which is why we quote each job rather than publish a price list. Two things can add to it: going over the included weight, when an overage fee may apply based on the total weight at the disposal facility, and keeping the container past the rental period, at an additional daily or weekly fee. We explain all of it on the first call. No hidden fees. Call (508) 952-9763 for a customized quote.

Roll-off rental around Norton — where the loads go

Every load goes to a site that is allowed to take it. State law bars disposing of solid waste anywhere MassDEP has not approved (M.G.L. c.111 §150A), and Norton's Board of Health asks licensed haulers to show in writing that a licensed, state-approved landfill or incinerator will be used (Reg. Ch. 11). What stays out of the box matters as much: the MassDEP waste bans (310 CMR 19.017) keep mattresses, textiles, large appliances, picture-tube TVs and monitors, lead-acid batteries, whole tires, leaves and yard waste, and recyclable paper, cardboard and containers out of the trash, and send mixed construction and demolition debris to a handling facility that separates out the asphalt, brick, concrete, metal, wood and clean drywall. MassDEP holds the people who transport waste to the bans as well as the people who generate it, so we ask what is going in before we quote. On the road, every load is covered (M.G.L. c.85 §36), and Norton's bylaw bars letting material drop from a vehicle onto a public way. We price it flat either way.

Answers

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental — your questions answered

What is the difference between a roll-off and a regular dumpster?

A regular dumpster is a permanent container emptied on a route. A roll-off is a temporary open-top container delivered for a project and hauled away when you are done. Roll-offs are what we do.

How full can I load it?

Level with the top edge or below, no higher. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be transported safely or legally, and keeping debris evenly distributed helps ensure a safe pickup. If you need more room, call and we can swap it for an empty one.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

No. As long as we have clear placement instructions and the area is accessible and free from vehicles, low branches and other obstacles, the driver places it where you asked. Same for pickup.

How quickly can you deliver?

Same-day or next-day, when availability allows. Call early in the day — before noon gives the best chance of same-day.

Can I not just haul it to the dump myself?

You can, for a few loads. Cover the load — Massachusetts requires rubbish and debris to be fully and adequately covered on the road (M.G.L. c.85 §36). Norton's Highway Department recycling Saturdays take listed items such as appliances, tires, TVs and scrap metal for a fee (508-285-0239), and grass, leaves and brush go to the West Hodges Street drop-off on set Saturdays. We found no Town transfer station for construction debris. A roll-off is the option when the job is more than a couple of trips, or you would rather not make them.

What does a roll-off cost in Norton?

It depends on the size, the type and weight of the debris, how long you keep it, the delivery location and the number of pickups or swaps, so we quote each job rather than publish prices. The quote is flat-rate whenever possible, covering delivery, pickup, disposal within the included weight — about 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard up to 5 to 6 on a 40 — and the standard 7-day rental period, with no hidden fees. Call (508) 952-9763 with the address and what is going in and you will have a number before you hang up.
