Roll-off dumpster rental in Seekonk

Approx. 14 road miles from the yard, around 23 minutes.

Seekonk is approx. 14 road miles south-southwest of the yard, around 23 minutes — same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. It is a town of 15,531 at the 2020 Census, in Bristol County.

Seekonk charges an annual trash fee on every home and collects household trash in Town-designated bags through a contracted hauler, but its by-laws list construction and demolition debris among the things residents handle through the Town's bulky waste opportunity or a private contractor (Cat. 11, §4). The DPW's construction debris sheet says contractors are responsible for disposal on their projects and that large amounts of construction debris won't be accepted at the Transfer Station.

Local knowledge

Getting our bearings in Seekonk

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • Transfer and Recycling Facility — behind American Legion Hall Post 311, 351 Fall River Avenue (Route 114A), at the site of the landfill; no commercial or industrial waste and no construction and demolition debris.
  • Bulky Waste Pass Day — $30 a visit, and the Town says it is “NOT intended to be an alternative to getting a dumpster.”
  • Second Saturdays — the Town's special recycling takes batteries, bulbs, mercury items and anti-freeze free of charge.
  • Town Hall — 100 Peck Street; Board of Health dumpster permits are applied for online.

What comes out of Seekonk properties

Roofs in 10s and 20s, garage clean-outs and flooring in 15s, remodels in 20s, estate clean-outs in 30s, construction and demolition in 30s and 40s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt — heavy loads are limited to the smaller boxes. The DPW says contractors are responsible for their own project debris, and the Transfer Station won't take large amounts of it. MassDEP bans asphalt pavement, brick and concrete, metal, wood (from landfills), clean drywall, mattresses and textiles (since 1 November 2022), whole tires, large appliances, TV and monitor picture tubes and lead-acid batteries from disposal (310 CMR 19.017), so mixed construction loads go to a C&D handling facility that sorts them. MassDEP says even one mattress can fail a load — tell us before you load a mattress or an appliance.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Seekonk

Who may haul — the rule that matters: the Board of Health's FY2026 fee schedule lists a trash hauler vehicle licence at $100 per vehicle, and the Town's billing FAQ says transporting trash over Seekonk roads without a valid permit is illegal, with a $100-a-day fine. Owners can be exempted from the Town trash fee by contracting with a licensed hauler (By-Laws Cat. 11, §1D). We found no exclusive roll-off franchise. We're licensed and insured.

Dumpster permit: the same fee schedule lists a Temporary Dumpster permit at $25, alongside $100 residential and $50 business dumpster permits; applications are online through the Board of Health.

Hours: the Board of Health's 19 November 2025 agenda cites Reg. 9.2.2: emptying a dumpster may not start before 7 a.m. or continue after 10 p.m. in residential areas, or 11 p.m. in commercial ones. We book drop-offs, swaps and pickups near homes inside that window.

In the street: By-Laws Cat. 21 bars leaving staging or any other structure on a street or sidewalk overnight without the written consent of the Superintendent of Public Works or the Select Board, and Cat. 37 penalizes anyone who places an obstruction on a sidewalk or road without a Select Board permit and doesn't remove it after notice. A driveway is the simple spot.

Knocking something down: Massachusetts requires an asbestos survey by an asbestos inspector before demolition or renovation work (310 CMR 7.15(4)), and asbestos removal needs a MassDEP notice filed ten working days before work starts by the licensed abatement contractor. MassDEP's construction/demolition notice (AQ 06) does not apply to residential buildings with fewer than 20 units. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Seekonk

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. Step 1: Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.

  2. Step 2: We size it and quote it flat

You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.

  3. Step 3: Delivered where you want it

The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, stable surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.

  4. Step 4: Load it on your schedule

Keep it level with the top edge or below and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, oils and fuel, chemicals, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, mattresses and textiles, and fridges or other large appliances. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.

  5. Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right

The load is covered and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste recycled through Massachusetts facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
