Roll-off dumpster rental in Easton
Approx. 9 road miles from the yard, around 16 minutes.
Easton is approx. 9 road miles northeast of the yard, around 16 minutes — same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. It is a town of 25,058 at the 2020 Census, in Bristol County.
The Town discontinued its municipal trash and recycling collection effective June 30, 2026, and says residents may contract privately with another service; it lists vendors licensed to do business in Easton and does not set or regulate private pricing. The Board of Health's solid waste code (Ch. 355) is the most detailed dumpster rulebook in our area: a permit for the hauler, a permit for the dumpster service and a permit for each dumpster.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Easton
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Open market since July 2026 — the Select Board voted in January to end the Town program rather than raise the quarterly fee, so residents now hire a licensed hauler.
- Licensed vendors — the Town's permitting system lists current household rubbish and garbage vendors, and only permit numbers containing '26' are valid this calendar year.
- Route 138 — the DPW lists a Route 138 Washington Street and Elm Street intersection project.
- Town offices — 136 Elm Street; Board of Health permits, dumpsters included, are applied for online.
What comes out of Easton properties
Roofs in 10s and 20s, landscaping and yard clean-ups in 15s and 20s, remodels in 20s, estate clean-outs in 30s, construction and demolition in 30s and 40s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt — heavy loads are limited to the smaller boxes. Each temporary dumpster permit runs up to 30 days with one 30-day renewal (§355-13), so plan the job around that. MassDEP bans asphalt pavement, brick and concrete, metal, wood (from landfills), clean drywall, mattresses and textiles (since 1 November 2022), whole tires, large appliances, TV and monitor picture tubes and lead-acid batteries from disposal (310 CMR 19.017), so mixed construction loads go to a C&D handling facility that sorts them. MassDEP says even one mattress can fail a load — tell us before you load a mattress or an appliance.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Easton
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Yard Dumpster | about 14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 3.5 ft high | about 3 pickup truck loads | 1–2 tons | Small kitchen and bathroom remodels, roofing tear-offs, garage and attic cleanouts, and concrete, brick, tile, asphalt and dirt within the weight limit. |
| 15 Yard Dumpster | about 16 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 4–5 pickup truck loads | 2–3 tons | Basement, garage and multi-room cleanouts, kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring and carpet removal, roofing projects, yard cleanup, and fence and deck removal. |
| 20 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 6 pickup truck loads | 3–4 tons | Whole-home cleanouts, kitchen and bathroom renovations, roofing projects, landscaping overhauls and light demolition with mixed construction debris. |
| 30 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 6 ft high | about 9 pickup truck loads | 4–5 tons | Whole-house remodeling, estate and move-out cleanouts, commercial renovations, light demolition and large property or community cleanups. |

Permits, placement and who may haul in Easton
Who may haul — the rule that matters: Easton's Board of Health code requires anyone collecting, removing or transporting garbage to hold a Board permit, valid January 1 to December 31 (§355-3), and a dumpster service provider needs a separate Permit to Operate a Dumpster Service (§355-11). Fees are set by the Board's schedule; we found no amounts. We found no exclusive franchise. We're licensed and insured.
Each dumpster — read this first: the user must get a Board of Health permit for each dumpster (§355-12). Temporary permits for construction, demolition and similar short-term needs are issued to the user for up to 30 days, with one more 30-day renewal (§355-13). The Board approves each location: at least 5 feet from any lot line and 15 feet from a building, without blocking a public way or sidewalk or obstructing sightlines (§355-15). We check the Easton Board of Health's rules before booking a container there, and we explain the customer permit on the call.
In the street: we found no Town container permit for a street — the DPW's permits cover street openings and trenches — and the Board's rule keeps dumpsters from blocking a public way or sidewalk (§355-15). The container goes on your property.
Knocking something down: Massachusetts requires an asbestos survey by an asbestos inspector before demolition or renovation work (310 CMR 7.15(4)), and asbestos removal needs a MassDEP notice filed ten working days before work starts by the licensed abatement contractor. MassDEP's construction/demolition notice (AQ 06) does not apply to residential buildings with fewer than 20 units. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Easton
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, stable surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.
Step 4: Load it on your schedule
Keep it level with the top edge or below and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, oils and fuel, chemicals, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, mattresses and textiles, and fridges or other large appliances. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right
The load is covered and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste recycled through Massachusetts facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
