Roll-off dumpster rental in Attleboro
Approx. 2 road miles from the yard, around 4 minutes — the yard sits close to the Attleboro line.
Attleboro is approx. 2 road miles west of the yard, around 4 minutes — same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. It is a city of 46,461 at the 2020 Census, in Bristol County.
The City collects household rubbish and recycling from homes of one to eight units for an annual per-unit fee, but its ordinance leaves out rubbish caused by fire, construction or repair of buildings (§7-7.2), and removing all other solid waste is the owner's job (§7-7.1). Owners who use a private contractor instead must use a hauler licensed with the Health Department (§7-8.2). Remodels, roofs and clean-outs go out in roll-offs.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Attleboro
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Soldiers and Sailors Monument — the City describes its Civil War monument as a granite shaft topped by a bronze flag bearer, flanked by a sailor and a soldier, about 35 feet tall.
- Recycling Center — 29 Pond St North, next to the City's Compost Center; mattresses are $25 a piece there.
- Bulky items by the piece — the City's bulky item contractor charges $33.20 per item, booked by phone.
- Household hazardous waste — the ordinance provides for an annual Household Hazardous Waste Day, if available, with no fee (§7-8.3(b)).
What comes out of Attleboro properties
Roofs in 10s and 20s, garage clean-outs and flooring in 15s, kitchens, baths and bigger home clean-outs in 20s, estate clean-outs and larger remodels in 30s, construction and demolition in 30s and 40s, and a 10 or 15 for concrete, brick and dirt — heavy loads are limited to the smaller boxes. That construction and repair debris is exactly what the City program leaves out (§7-7.2). MassDEP bans asphalt pavement, brick and concrete, metal, wood (from landfills), clean drywall, mattresses and textiles (since 1 November 2022), whole tires, large appliances, TV and monitor picture tubes and lead-acid batteries from disposal (310 CMR 19.017), so mixed construction loads go to a C&D handling facility that sorts them. MassDEP says even one mattress can fail a load — tell us before you load a mattress or an appliance.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Attleboro
Who may haul — the rule that matters: Massachusetts makes a Board of Health permit the gate for hauling refuse through any town's streets (M.G.L. c.111 §31A). In Attleboro the City's Health Officer has the powers of a Board of Health (§7-1.1), and a private hauler serving an Attleboro home must be licensed with the Health Department (§7-8.2); the City publishes a list of licensed rubbish haulers each year. We found no exclusive roll-off franchise. We're licensed and insured.
Dumpster permit: the City's fire prevention fee schedule lists an annual Fire Department dumpster permit — $10 per location for residential dumpsters over 6 yards, $25 per location for commercial, industrial, retail and health care sites (§6-5). The schedule doesn't say whether a short-term roll-off falls under it, so we check with Fire Prevention before the drop-off.
In the street: §16-3.2 sets a charge of $150 for occupying a sidewalk or street for up to three days, plus $20 for each additional day. The section sits in the Public Works chapter and doesn't name the issuing office, so call the City before using a street. A driveway is simpler: give us clear placement instructions and you don't need to be home for the drop-off.
State highways: parts of Route 123 in Attleboro are MassDOT's and parts are city-accepted. Nothing may be placed on a state highway without MassDOT's written permit (M.G.L. c.81 §21), and MassDOT has no container permit type — so beside a state stretch the container goes on private property.
Knocking something down: Massachusetts requires an asbestos survey by an asbestos inspector before demolition or renovation work (310 CMR 7.15(4)), and asbestos removal needs a MassDEP notice filed ten working days before work starts by the licensed abatement contractor. MassDEP's construction/demolition notice (AQ 06) does not apply to residential buildings with fewer than 20 units. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if the survey finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Attleboro
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the location, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
You get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, disposal, the standard rental period and an included weight allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, stable surface rather than the lawn. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home.
Step 4: Load it on your schedule
Keep it level with the top edge or below and keep the banned items out — paint and solvents, oils and fuel, chemicals, batteries, tires, propane tanks and gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos, mattresses and textiles, and fridges or other large appliances. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We haul it and dispose of it right
The load is covered and goes to an approved facility, with metal, concrete, asphalt, clean wood and yard waste recycled through Massachusetts facilities whenever possible. You get your driveway back the way you left it.
